VIDEO: White Marlin at Atlantis Canyon

We snuck our initial 2015 Atlantis Canyon foray through a very tight weather window on Thursday, June 25. We found the stuff of winter dreams – flat calm seas and 79 degree clear blue gulf stream water had rolled in. We enjoyed tuna sashimi, fresh mahi on the grill, and as icing on the cake, we released a June white marlin 120 miles out to sea!

To our surprise a couple of of white marlin came up hot on an SI tackle bulb squid bar with one hooking itself on a green machine bar and doing cartwheels for 200 yards with the bar flying in all directions around the fish. What a sight!
