Jeff Fortin and Kevin Gould of Falmouth were fishing in Buzzards Bay on the morning of Tuesday May 16th when they hooked into a monster 64-pound striped bass.
Early on Thursday May 11th, Capt. Dave Peros and Capt. Mike Hogan splashed the Katie G at Taylor Point Marine and headed out into Buzzards Bay in search of stripers. Watch them chase birds and bait at the mouth of the Canal in our latest video report. (2:05)
In late April, Nantucket Sound fills with spawning loligo squid, creating an excellent opportunity for anglers to stock up on offshore baits for later in the season or grab a few for the grill.
