Mitchell River Ramp #663
Comments: The only other ramp in Chatham that is available to the public in season is the Mitchell River Ramp. This ramp is very steep and slippery; in addition, a boat must be able to clear the bridge (clearance is approximately 11 feet at low tide and 6.67 feet at high tide). This ramp launches into Mitchell River, which empties into Stage Harbor.
Location: Bridge Street.
Fees and parking: There is very limited parking, approximately four in the dirt lot, as well as parking along Bridge Street and there is no permit required.
Fuel: Fuel, water and marine service located at Stage Harbor Marine, across bridge.
