Cape Cod Canal

The Cape Cod Canal is one of the most famous striped bass fisheries on the east coast. Depending on the tide and time of year, fish to 40 pounds can be caught here by casting topwater plugs or jigging metals out into deeper drop-offs in the Canal.

Early on Thursday May 11th, Capt. Dave Peros and Capt. Mike Hogan splashed the Katie G at Taylor Point Marine and headed out into Buzzards Bay in search of stripers. Watch them chase birds and bait at the mouth of the Canal in our latest video report. (2:05)
