On Saturday, Chris Junda searched south of Harwich for rock piles, humps, and drops to find some nice sea bass. In his own words:
“Drop a jig and bounce it off the bottom. If you don’t get hits within a few minutes, look around until you find fish. Once you find them you will get hits on almost every drop. Most of the fish are shorts but there are keepers mixed in. Sea bass fishing is great for kids and they are a very tasty fish.
You will find pods of boats out there and that is a good place to start but it is easy to find fish of your own if you move around a bit. No need to stick with the crowd.”
