Reader Report: Monomoy Schoolies – May 28, 2016

Capt. Drew Downing and Chris Junda did some flats fishing on the west side of Monomoy last week. It was a perfect day with light wind and crystal clear water, and the duo were able to sight fish, casting to roving
pods of 10-24″ schoolies with small softbaits like 4″ Hogy Sand Eels and Skinnys. They set up in several creeks and troughs and had good success for several hours. They saw some larger fish but the biggest we caught was 24″.
