Outer Cape Fishing Report – May 25, 2018

Paul Newmier down at Blackbeard’s in Eastham said that the schoolie activity along the backside beaches is very good, with folks coming in to report surface feeding fish pretty much at every one of the beaches thereabouts, from Nauset to Provincetown. He knows that Newcomb Hollow is popular due to easy access, but he heard from one angler who was at Nauset Light and there were fish breaking all over the place. The Al Gag’s Whip-it Fish in pearl has been a top producer, which is a good option since it has a single hook and makes releasing small fish cleaner and easier.
