Matt Reinemo said that the bonito bite has been better on the troll around the Bonito Bar, with Yo-zuri Sinking Crystal Minnows a popular lure, whether casting or trolling; things had slowed during the full moon, but it has picked up recently. Matt said that color isn’t as critical as the lure having silvery, reflective sides. A few albies have been mixed in, while Adam Fasci caught one from shore at Great Point, where there are some bonito as well. Bluefish are still plentiful all around the island, particularly in the rips from the southside out beyond Miacomet.
