The only I thing I can report from the islands is that about a week ago, a mariner returning from a trip on a NOAA boat said there was a large school of small bass down around Cuttyhunk. These fish are typically on small sand eels and other baitfish, at least from what I have experienced there, and make perfect targets for small soft plastics.
Very little report from here, even on tautog, as very few anglers have their boats in the water. Should be very interesting to see what Capt. Mike Hogan and Capt. Shaun Ruge find tomorrow, as I can’t imagine Mike not convincing Shaun to take a few casts in the Hole after they go out squidding.
