Elizabeth Islands Fishing Report – May 19, 2016

The rock piles of Woods Hole were on fire Wednesday evening, with at least one 25-pound bass taken on a Hogy 10-inch Original in Arkansas Shiner. Light tackle and fly anglers enjoyed endless schoolie action with fish to 26″, especially after sunset.

As far as further down the Islands go, a Thursday morning trip to Robinson’s by the Salty Cape staff reported mixed results, with only a handful of decent schoolies taken. Many boats in the Falmouth area are just being splashed this weekend, so reports for the area have been difficult to come by.
