On this memorable September morning, Captains Mike Hogan, Terry Nugent and Shaun Ruge tied into a solid pod of fish.

Capt. Larry Backman and the crew aboard FV Skipjack headed to West Atlantis Canyon this past weekend, successfully deep-dropping for 4 swordfish and landing this 350-pound blue marlin.
Horseshoe is best known as a premier location for large bluefish on the south side of Cape Cod. Casting and trolling are both reliable techniques from late June through mid September.
Capt. Larry Backman and crew had a successful initial trip to Atlantis Canyon this week, including a pair of white marlin.
Capt. Mike Hogan and Sean Ruge of Riptide Charters headed off Provincetown, MA in mid-June to vertical jig and topwater cast for large striped bass to 40″ in length.
Watch Capt. Mike Hogan use a light tackle lead core outfit to jig’n troll striped bass off Tom’s Shoal near wasque. Capt. Mike was fishing the (1) humps in slight deeper water and dropping back to target the Captain Saw on the fish finder.
Wasque is a great boat spot because bait from Nantucket sound gets swept through the channeled water between Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
